The Opportunity:

As a Psychology Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping students’ understanding of human behaviour and mental processes. You will deliver high-quality iGCSE and A Level Psychology courses, inspiring a new generation of learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach AS & A Level Psychology (Cambridge International syllabus 9990) to Years 12 and 13 students.
  • Deliver iGCSE Psychology (Cambridge syllabus 0266) to Years 10 and 11 students.
  • Develop engaging and innovative lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote student engagement.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals through individualised guidance and assessment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme by participating in clubs, events, and other student activities.
  • Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and child protection at all times.
  • Participate in professional development and coaching programmes to support continuous growth and improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A PGCE (or equivalent full teaching qualification) and a degree in Psychology.
  • Experience teaching iGCSE and A Level Psychology, ideally within a UK framework.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student development and academic success.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proven ability to innovate and inspire students in the classroom.
