Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Key Stage 3 (Years 7 to 9) English with a focus on student engagement and academic growth.
  • Deliver IGCSE First Language English and potentially IGCSE English Literature.
  • Teach A Level English Language and Literature for the right candidate.
  • Support the school’s co-curricular programme by contributing to clubs, activities, and school events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to teaching and learning.
  • Participate in the school’s instructional coaching programme to enhance professional development.
  • Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A PGCE (or equivalent full teaching qualification) and a degree in English.
  • Experience teaching within a UK framework.
  • A creative and innovative approach to engaging students in their learning.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering IGCSE and A Level qualifications.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in an international school setting.
