Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative Key Stage 3 STEM and Science classes.
• Support the development and delivery of Key Stage 3 Mathematics classes, where applicable.
• Utilise and maintain a range of technical equipment, including VEX Robotics resources.
• Foster student curiosity and understanding in STEM subjects through creative and interactive teaching methods.
• Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school’s STEM curriculum.
• Participate in safeguarding and professional development initiatives.
• Support students in their academic and personal growth through a student-centred approach.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A PGCE (or equivalent full teaching qualification) and a degree in a relevant field.
• Experience teaching within a UK framework.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and working with children.
• The ability to deliver high-quality STEM and Science lessons.

Preferred

• Experience with VEX Robotics or other STEM-related competitions.
• A creative and innovative approach to teaching and student engagement.
• Experience in a school with a strong co-curricular programme.
