Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain art, photography, and design equipment and resources
  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and practical sessions
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of all art and design materials
  • Assist in the development and implementation of art and design curriculum resources
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance student learning and engagement
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and stock levels
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to support continuous improvement
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Preferred

  • Experience in art, photography, or design education
  • Knowledge of current teaching practices and curriculum developments
  • Experience with digital art and design tools
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong focus on British Values
