The Opportunity:

As a Business, Marketing & Admin Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that help students achieve their full potential. You will support a diverse range of learners and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive environment that promotes student success and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements
  • Monitor student progress, attendance and engagement, taking proactive action to support achievement
  • Provide clear targets and timely, constructive feedback to support learner development
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance processes such as internal verification and standardisation
  • Carry out duties in line with school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised teaching qualification (Level 5 or above)
  • Relevant subject qualification (Level 3 or above) and industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners
  • Experience delivering teaching or training to young people or adults
  • Knowledge of assessment, feedback and quality assurance processes within education

Preferred

  • Experience working in a further education or training environment
  • Experience with inclusive teaching practices and supporting learners with additional needs
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and resources
