Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Monitor and assess student progress systematically, setting clear targets for improvement.
• Maintain high standards of work and homework, ensuring consistent and effective marking and feedback.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and support different learning styles.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to whole-school initiatives and curriculum development.
• Communicate regularly with parents and provide accurate, honest information regarding student progress.
• Support the school's improvement plan and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Uphold school rules and maintain a safe, respectful, and disciplined learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience in the UK or a British Curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and current assessment practices.
• Experience with data systems, student tracking, intervention, and reporting.
• Commitment to outstanding teaching and learning practices.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with parents to support student success.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching Business Studies or related subjects.
• Familiarity with SEN/EAL support strategies.
• Experience with curriculum development and policy implementation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
