Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality administrative and welfare support to pupils, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential matters with care and professionalism.
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of welfare-related initiatives and services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using relevant software and databases.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of events and activities that support student well-being.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Support the school’s leadership and welfare programmes through proactive engagement and communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Experience of working in an administrative setting.
  • Proficient in using MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Experience with welfare or pastoral support roles.
  • Knowledge of leadership and character development programmes.
  • Experience with using MS Explorer or other relevant software.
