The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced EYFS Tutor to support young learners in the Belsize Park area. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with students with special educational needs (SEN) and who values a personalized, student-centred approach to teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured EYFS lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Support students with special educational needs using the Bright Heart Approach
• Communicate regularly with parents and education consultants to track student progress
• Follow safeguarding and child protection policies at all times
• Attend training and development sessions to enhance teaching practice
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and learning outcomes
• Collaborate with the education team to ensure consistency in teaching standards
• Provide a safe, supportive, and motivating learning environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• At least 12 months of relevant tutoring or teaching experience in the UK
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong subject knowledge in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children’s barred list)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

Preferred

• Experience with the Bright Heart Approach or similar student-centred teaching methods
• Previous experience with students who have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
• Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and tools
• Experience with creating and implementing individual learning plans (ILPs)
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student well-being
