Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable) that bring business theory to life.
• Foster students’ understanding of the modern business world, entrepreneurship, and economic awareness.
• Plan and deliver creative lessons that promote high aspirations and excellent outcomes.
• Assess and track student progress effectively to support learning and development.
• Contribute positively to curriculum development within the department.
• Encourage students to think critically and develop strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Support the school’s mission of empowering students to become thoughtful, resilient, and engaged individuals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong subject knowledge in Business.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
• Experience in delivering lessons to Key Stage 4 students.
• Ability to assess and track student progress effectively.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Key Stage 5 students.
• A second subject, such as economics or another suitable subject.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Background in curriculum development or leadership within a department.
