Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Modern Foreign Languages lessons to students across key stages.
  • Develop engaging and challenging curricula that promote language acquisition and cultural awareness.
  • Support students in achieving academic success through differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and school-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities, including language clubs and cultural events.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages, with a specialism in French and/or Spanish.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience with early career teacher support or mentoring.
  • Familiarity with digital innovation and technology in education.
  • Involvement in co-curricular activities or extracurricular programmes.
  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on character development and academic excellence.
