The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to maintain the school site in a clean, tidy, and presentable condition while ensuring a safe and secure environment for all. This role is essential in supporting the smooth running of the school and requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues before they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the school site in a clean, tidy, and presentable condition at all times.
• Ensure the school environment is safe and secure for pupils, staff, parents, and visitors.
• Liaise with staff across the school to provide assistance as problems arise.
• Proactively identify and address maintenance and cleanliness issues.
• Assist with general duties as required to support the school's operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support the school in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proactive attitude and willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Ability to identify and resolve maintenance and cleanliness issues without being prompted.
• Good communication skills to liaise with staff and other stakeholders.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Preferred

• Experience in a school or similar premises management role.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required.
