Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop library resources, ensuring a dynamic and welcoming space
  • Promote reading and library services across all year groups
  • Support curriculum delivery through information skills training and resource provision
  • Manage library bookings and systems efficiently
  • Contribute to school literacy initiatives, including listening to pupils read
  • Oversee the after-school homework club
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into lessons
  • Maintain an up-to-date and well-organized library collection

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A genuine love for reading and promoting literacy
  • Excellent communication, organisational and digital skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers
  • Experience in library or information services

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum support or educational resource development
  • Familiarity with library management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience in managing after-school programs
