Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of PE Enrichment activities in the sixth form.
- Support the school’s extensive extra-curricular programme in PE and Sports.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and challenging curriculum.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress in line with school expectations.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral and community activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching Physical Education at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering PE Enrichment activities.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in PE and Sports education.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
- Familiarity with using technology in teaching and learning.
