The Opportunity:
As Deputy Headteacher for Quality of Education, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, raising standards of teaching and learning, and ensuring the highest quality of educational provision for every student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on curriculum intent, implementation, and impact across the school.
- Oversee teaching and learning, assessment, and student outcomes.
- Ensure high expectations, strong pedagogy, and effective assessment are embedded throughout the school.
- Work collaboratively with subject leaders and pastoral teams to drive improvement.
- Provide strategic oversight of curriculum design, professional development, and quality assurance.
- Contribute to the wider Trust leadership network and system leadership initiatives.
- Support the Headteacher in driving sustained school improvement and growth.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, high achievement, and student well-being.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
- Strong track record in improving teaching and learning outcomes.
- Experience in curriculum development and quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusion and student well-being.
Preferred
- Experience in a deputy headteacher or equivalent role.
- Background in system leadership or multi-academy trust environments.
- Experience with professional development and staff training.
- Strong understanding of assessment and data analysis in education.
