Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality carpentry instruction tailored to students with diverse needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified and experienced Carpentry Instructor with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven ability to work with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Ability to manage a workshop and ensure health and safety standards are maintained.

Preferred

  • Experience in special education or working with young people with additional needs.
  • Knowledge of vocational qualifications and curriculum requirements.
  • Experience in developing and delivering practical, hands-on learning activities.
  • Familiarity with the needs of students with behavioural, emotional or learning difficulties.
