The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Casual Lifeguard/Leisure Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of students and visitors in our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in line with established safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure the safety of all individuals using the facilities at all times.
• Enforce safety policies, protocols, and operational procedures consistently.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or incidents.
• Maintain accurate records and report incidents as required.
• Assist with the maintenance and organization of recreational areas.
• Provide guidance and support to users of the facilities.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• NPLQ qualified with up-to-date certification.
• Strong knowledge of safety policies, protocols, and operational procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to remain alert and attentive at all times.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred

• Experience in a similar role within a school or leisure environment.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience in lifeguarding or related roles.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate or similar educational frameworks.
