The Opportunity:

As a Gardener Full-Time, you will play a key role in maintaining the school's beautiful grounds and outdoor spaces throughout the year. This position offers the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, while contributing to the overall environment and atmosphere of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the school's gardens and outdoor areas to the highest standard.
• Ensure all health and safety policies are followed at all times.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to support school events and activities.
• Manage the planting, pruning, and upkeep of all green spaces.
• Monitor and report on the condition of the grounds and any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to the school's policies and procedures regarding sustainability and environmental care.
• Assist with the preparation of outdoor spaces for school functions and special events.
• Keep records of work completed and any issues encountered.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in gardening or grounds maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work year-round and during school events.

Preferred

• Experience working in an educational or institutional setting.
• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate or similar educational frameworks.
• Knowledge of sustainable gardening practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
