We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression for all visitors, parents, and students. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the school's front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and update the school database regularly.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Provide general administrative support as required.
  • Ensure the front desk area is tidy, well-organised, and welcoming at all times.
  • Assist with event coordination and visitor management as needed.
  • Support the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Experience in a reception or customer service role.
  • Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email systems).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational or school setting.
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate programme.
  • Multilingual skills.
  • Previous experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
