As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality meal service to students and staff. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of a range of nutritious food for meal times
• Serve food to an exceptional standard and interact with staff and pupils in a helpful and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with established kitchen systems and procedures to maintain an efficient and organised meal service
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness at all times
• Support the catering team in managing the flow of food service during peak times
• Assist with the storage and organisation of food supplies and kitchen equipment
• Contribute to the overall running of the kitchen and food service operations
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working in a busy kitchen environment
• Right to work in the U.K.

Preferred

• Experience in catering in large quantities within a school setting
• Experience working with children
• Level 3 Health & Safety and Food Hygiene qualification
• First Aid qualification
