Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Chemistry and Science lessons from Level 2 to A Level.
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student success.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
  • Support the school’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS) or currently working towards it.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry and Science.
  • Experience teaching Science at Level 2 to A Level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with current pedagogical trends and practices.
  • Experience in a diverse and inclusive educational environment.
