The Opportunity:

As a Student Records Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely administration of student records. This includes managing enrolments, maintaining data integrity, and supporting compliance with internal and external requirements. You will be part of a dynamic team that is essential to the smooth running of the school's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate student records, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Support the administration of student enrolments, including attendance tracking, withdrawals, and group change requests.
  • Liaise with students, parents, and college staff to resolve attendance queries and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with the preparation of funding submissions (ILR) and ensure all data is up to date and compliant.
  • Collaborate with the MIS Team to support the overall management of student data and reporting systems.
  • Participate in internal audits and compliance checks to ensure the quality and accuracy of student data.
  • Update and maintain student records in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Support the smooth running of key events such as enrolment and exams by working across multiple sites as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using administrative systems and software, including Microsoft Office and data management tools.

Preferred

  • Experience with student information systems or similar data management platforms.
  • Knowledge of ILR and HE data reporting requirements.
  • Experience in a college or further education environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Experience with compliance and audit processes.
