Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons that inspire and challenge students at all levels
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support student learning
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Chemistry curriculum
- Support the school’s commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education
- Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Chemistry experience
- Proven ability to deliver effective lessons and achieve strong student outcomes
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Chemistry
- Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience teaching at both GCSE and A Level
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technology
- Experience in a large, mixed, comprehensive school setting
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on a mentoring role
