Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons that inspire and challenge students at all levels
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support student learning
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Chemistry curriculum

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant Chemistry experience
• Proven ability to deliver effective lessons and achieve strong student outcomes
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Chemistry
• Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience teaching at both GCSE and A Level
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technology
• Experience in a large, mixed, comprehensive school setting
• Leadership experience or willingness to take on a mentoring role
