A PE Teacher (Football Specialism) is sought to inspire and lead students in a vibrant and diverse sports programme. This role is ideal for someone passionate about football and committed to delivering high-quality PE lessons and fostering a love for sport in all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons with a focus on football.
- Develop and implement a structured sports programme across all year groups.
- Support after-school training and fixture programmes, including tournaments and festivals.
- Collaborate with other staff to integrate sports with academic learning.
- Supervise and mentor students in sports clubs and squads, including swim, ski, and sports scholarship programmes.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of sports facilities and equipment.
- Promote the school's sporting values and encourage participation in a wide range of sports.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in PE and football.
- Strong knowledge of football coaching and sports pedagogy.
- Experience in delivering sports lessons to students of all ages.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of other sports such as rugby, hockey, cricket, tennis, and athletics.
- Ability to lead and motivate students and staff.
- Experience with sports scholarship and talent development programmes.
