The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach small GCSE and A Level master classes in printmaking and photography.
- Encourage students to experiment, take creative risks, and develop their individual artistic voice.
- Collaborate with the Art Department to enhance the curriculum and support student achievement.
- Provide high-quality instruction that aligns with the school’s commitment to academic excellence and personal growth.
- Support students in preparing for external examinations and creative opportunities.
- Foster a culture of innovation and ambition within the Art Department.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant qualification in art, design, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in teaching printmaking and photography at GCSE and A Level.
- Strong knowledge of both traditional and contemporary art practices.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary teaching approaches.
- Experience with digital photography and printmaking techniques.
