The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to students across all key stages, including KS5.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department and the wider school to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Support the development of students’ scientific knowledge, skills, and curiosity.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and science-related events.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Chemistry and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in Chemistry.
- Experience teaching Science, with a specialism in Chemistry.
- Ability to teach across the full age range, including KS5.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
- Demonstrated success in achieving outstanding examination results.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovative teaching strategies.
- Knowledge of science education and current trends in the subject.
