Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality music lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, ensuring students achieve excellent progress.
  • Develop and implement a creative and engaging curriculum aligned with the school’s vision.
  • Lead and support extra-curricular music activities, including ensembles and performances.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance subject-specific pedagogy and departmental practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through professional development and leadership initiatives.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of music resources and facilities.
  • Promote a culture of high aspiration and achievement among students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in music education.
