The Opportunity:

A Class Teacher is needed to inspire and educate children aged 4 to 11 in a supportive and dynamic school setting. This role offers the chance to contribute to a school with high aspirations and a strong focus on student achievement and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, ensuring a seamless progression through the primary curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student learning and development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in school events and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) curricula.
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school undergoing academy transition or working within a multi-academy trust.
  • Experience with continuous professional development (CPD) and a commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or working with diverse student groups.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range from £34,398 to £46,839 per annum.
  • Additional recruitment and retention allowance of £2,921.22.
  • Full-time position with 32.5 hours per week.
