Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the English learning area, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages.
• Work closely with the Head of Learning Area to support strategic goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement a vision for English education that aligns with the school’s mission and values.
• Monitor and evaluate teacher performance, providing support and guidance to ensure consistent standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver innovative teaching strategies and resources.
• Promote a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and high expectations among students and staff.
• Support the professional development of English teachers through mentoring and training.
• Ensure that the learning area meets all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven leadership experience in a school or educational setting.
• Strong subject knowledge in English and a deep understanding of curriculum requirements.
• Experience in managing and developing a learning area or department.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and raising standards for all students.

Preferred
