The Opportunity:

Join a school seeking a passionate and innovative Maths Teacher to inspire students and foster a deep understanding of mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student confidence and enthusiasm for mathematics.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative methods, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine the Mathematics curriculum and contribute to cross-curricular initiatives.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of enrichment activities.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through tailored instruction and guidance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies for Mathematics education.
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership roles within a department.
  • Strong track record in student achievement and engagement.
