Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-focused lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Manage the classroom effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
  • Promote a culture of continuous professional development and adherence to Teachers’ Standards.
  • Implement school policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines.
  • Support the school’s commitment to inclusivity, including working with students with visual impairment or other physical needs.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s nursery provision and wider community initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and effective classroom management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and adherence to Teachers’ Standards.
  • Experience in safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs or disabilities.
  • Familiarity with inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Experience with nursery provision or early years education.
  • Knowledge of music education or involvement with extracurricular activities.
