Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-focused lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Manage the classroom effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
- Promote a culture of continuous professional development and adherence to Teachers’ Standards.
- Implement school policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines.
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusivity, including working with students with visual impairment or other physical needs.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s nursery provision and wider community initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and effective classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to Teachers’ Standards.
- Experience in safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience working with students with special educational needs or disabilities.
- Familiarity with inclusive teaching strategies.
- Experience with nursery provision or early years education.
- Knowledge of music education or involvement with extracurricular activities.
