Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean and hygienic standards across all school premises
• Ensure all areas, including classrooms, corridors, and restrooms, are regularly cleaned and maintained
• Follow health and safety procedures and report any issues promptly
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to support the smooth running of the school
• Adhere to the school’s values and commitment to continuous improvement
• Assist with the storage and organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Support the implementation of the school’s flexible working policy where applicable
• Uphold the school’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the role

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in a similar cleaning role
• A strong moral purpose and drive for improvement
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Preferred

• Experience working in an educational setting
• Flexibility to work across multiple sites in Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, and Liverpool
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience with cleaning equipment and chemicals
