Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all school areas to the required standards, including classrooms, corridors, and common areas.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored safely.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Supervisor promptly.
  • Adhere to the school’s health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation of school areas for events and special occasions.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the school.
  • Follow all cleaning schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to support the smooth running of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Flexibility to work hours that may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Preferred

  • Experience with cleaning in a school or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of work.
