The Opportunity:
As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in managing ISI compliance, risk management, and incident management across both schools. This is a dynamic and impactful position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret and explain complex legislation to non-specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain compliance with ISI standards across both schools.
- Oversee risk management processes and ensure effective incident management procedures are in place.
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to data protection and management protocols.
- Interpret and explain legislation and procedures to non-specialists in a clear and concise manner.
- Support the wider Compliance team with independent projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the school to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensure all compliance-related documentation is up to date and accessible.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business continuity plans.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in compliance management, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of data protection and management legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret and explain complex legislation to non-specialists.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Experience in conducting audits and risk assessments.
Preferred
- Experience with incident management and business continuity planning.
- Previous experience in a school or educational environment.
- Knowledge of ISI standards and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with training and development in compliance-related areas.
