The Opportunity:

As Deputy Head of Wider Curriculum, you will provide strategic leadership for a range of extracurricular and enrichment programs, ensuring they align with the school’s educational mission and support student growth and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the development of a comprehensive wider curriculum, including drama, music, sport, and outdoor education.
Oversee the planning and delivery of the school’s residential trip program and all enrichment activities.
Work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure alignment with the school’s strategic goals and values.
Foster strong partnerships with external organizations to enhance student experiences and opportunities.
Promote a culture of inclusion, innovation, and excellence across all wider curricular activities.
Support the personal development, health, and wellbeing of all students through meaningful engagement and programming.
Ensure the effective management and evaluation of all wider curriculum initiatives.
Collaborate with teaching and support staff to create a cohesive and inspiring learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Proven leadership experience in a senior educational role.
Strong strategic and management skills with experience in curriculum development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A deep understanding of the boarding school environment and its unique requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
