Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons across all key stages.
• Build strong relationships with students and families to support learning and development.
• Act as a Form Tutor to support student well-being and academic success.
• Participate in and contribute to ongoing professional development and pedagogical improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
• Support the school’s commitment to a broad and rich educational experience.
• Implement and maintain high standards of behaviour and respect in the classroom.
• Engage in regular reflection and appraisal to ensure continuous improvement in teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or the ability to obtain it before the role begins.
• Experience in teaching Computer Science at key stages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student progress and personal development.
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching Computer Science to a range of abilities.
• Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
• Experience with pastoral care or form tutoring.
