Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons across all key stages.
- Build strong relationships with students and families to support learning and development.
- Act as a Form Tutor to support student well-being and academic success.
- Participate in and contribute to ongoing professional development and pedagogical improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Support the school’s commitment to a broad and rich educational experience.
- Implement and maintain high standards of behaviour and respect in the classroom.
- Engage in regular reflection and appraisal to ensure continuous improvement in teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or the ability to obtain it before the role begins.
- Experience in teaching Computer Science at key stages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student progress and personal development.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Computer Science to a range of abilities.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
- Experience with pastoral care or form tutoring.
