Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with health and safety regulations and the school’s food standards
• Assist with stock control, including receiving, checking, and safely storing supplies
• Support the Chef Manager in maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-organized kitchen environment
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of food usage and stock levels
• Follow procedures for food safety, hygiene, and waste reduction
• Assist with the planning and development of menus that promote healthy eating
• Undertake additional kitchen duties as required to support the smooth running of the catering service

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant catering qualification
• Right to work in the U.K.
• Experience in a catering or food preparation role, ideally within a school setting

Preferred

• Level 3 Health & Hygiene Certificate
• First Aid qualification
• Knowledge of healthy eating and nutrition
• Experience in menu planning and food preparation
