Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the school continues to deliver outstanding educational outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across the school community.
  • Develop and implement long-term plans for academic, pastoral, and operational growth.
  • Ensure effective financial and resource management, maximizing the school’s potential.
  • Promote high-quality teaching and learning, based on evidence and best practice.
  • Lead and support the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
  • Work closely with the Governing Body to maintain strong governance and accountability.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Honours Degree or equivalent.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
  • Recent experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
  • Evidence of significant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the last three years.

Preferred

  • Experience in strategic leadership and curriculum development.
  • Strong understanding of financial and resource management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
  • Experience in working with Governing Bodies and external stakeholders.
