Cover Supervisor needed at a high-achieving school. Support student learning during teacher absences.

The Opportunity:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will ensure continuity of learning across a range of subjects when teachers are absent. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on student outcomes and support a dynamic, supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee student learning in the absence of teaching staff.
  • Deliver structured and engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Work closely with students to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leadership.
  • Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of respect and inclusion.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of lesson delivery and student progress.
  • Collaborate with other support staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven ability to deliver lessons across multiple subjects.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in working with students of all ages.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of respect, inclusion, and community.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Catholic education values and ethos.
  • Flexibility and willingness to support the school during peak times.
