The Opportunity:

A Cover Supervisor is needed to support teaching staff by delivering cover lessons and supervising classes during teacher absences. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic secondary school environment, working with students of varying abilities and subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality cover lessons across a range of subjects and age groups.
• Supervise and manage student behaviour effectively during lessons.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, teachers, and support staff.
• Proactively check and respond to daily cover requirements.
• Develop positive and supportive relationships with students.

Required

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students.

• Patience and a calm, professional approach.

Preferred

• Experience in a teaching or educational support role.
• Experience delivering lessons across multiple subjects.
• Previous experience in a secondary school setting.
