The Opportunity:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning by stepping in when regular teachers are absent. This is a chance to make a real impact in a school that values the best in everyone and offers a supportive, dynamic environment for staff and students alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise student work and ensure learning objectives are clear and understood.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement.
- Support students with equality of access and encourage reflection on their learning.
- Assist with break and lunchtime duties, invigilation, and in-class learning support.
- Deliver lessons in the absence of the regular teacher with confidence and independence.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the school.
- Adapt to changing priorities and support the school’s mission of excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Confidence in delivering lessons across a range of subjects.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to support students and staff as needed.
- Commitment to the school’s ethos of "the best in everyone."
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or supervising in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and supporting diverse learners.
- Familiarity with school systems and procedures.
- Experience with curriculum delivery and assessment.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £32,000 - £35,000 FTE.
