The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality cover for absent teachers and supporting the delivery of learning across the school. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective cover for absent teachers across all key stages
• Support the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for students
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
• Contribute to the development of teaching and learning strategies
• Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons as required
• Support the school’s extra-curricular programme, including sports activities
• Maintain strong communication with colleagues and students
• Uphold the school’s values and ethos in all interactions

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant teaching or educational experience
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to student achievement and inclusion
• Flexibility to work across different subjects and key stages

Preferred

• Experience in providing cover or coaching roles
• Sports coaching or PE qualifications
• Experience with curriculum development
• Familiarity with the INOVA MAT and its values
• Experience in a comprehensive school setting
