Summary:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant role available at a school in Sheffield. Support students with SEND and core subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with special educational needs and complex learning needs.
Assist with lesson planning and delivery in core subjects.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students.
Monitor and record student progress regularly.
Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a consistent approach to student support.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist with behavior management and pastoral care.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Literacy and numeracy qualifications equivalent to a Level 2 (grade 4 at GCSE).
Relevant and up to date training and experience in behaviour support, SEN or emotional wellbeing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive and caring attitude towards students.

Preferred

Experience working with students with special educational needs.
Experience in a school or educational setting.
Knowledge of core subjects such as English and Mathematics.
Experience with supporting students in a classroom environment.
