The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Criminology Teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students at A-Level. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people and contribute to a school that consistently achieves exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Criminology courses up to A-Level with a focus on student engagement and achievement.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and promote critical thinking.
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of Criminology concepts and their real-world applications.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and professional development.

  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of Criminology and incorporate new insights into teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant teaching qualification and degree-level expertise in Criminology.
  • Experience in teaching Criminology at A-Level or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience working with young people in further education settings.
  • Familiarity with the latest developments in Criminology and related subjects.
  • Experience with professional development and continuing education.
