The Opportunity:
As a Personal Development Coach, you will deliver engaging tutorials and workshops to support 16-18 year olds in preparing for adulthood, further study, and employment. You will also assist with UCAS applications and provide guidance on apprenticeships and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality group tutorials and workshops to support student development and transition to adulthood.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout the UCAS application process.
- Assist students in exploring and applying for apprenticeship and employment opportunities.
- Encourage personal growth, confidence, and independence in learners.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress and development throughout their time at the institution.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to student progress and participation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in delivering personal development or career guidance programmes to young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with 16-18 year olds in an educational setting.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging tutorials and workshops.
- Understanding of the UCAS application process and higher education pathways.
Preferred
- Experience in supporting students with apprenticeship applications.
- Background in teaching or coaching within further education.
- Familiarity with career planning and employment support services.
- Experience in a school or college environment with a strong focus on student development.
