The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Curriculum Cover Teacher to support the school’s growing student body and ensure continuity of learning. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about working with young people and is looking to contribute to a dynamic and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide curriculum cover for unplanned and planned absences in Grade 4.
  • Implement, monitor, and report on learning set by curriculum leaders.
  • Support the development of the school’s ethos and community.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and curriculum leaders.
  • Manage and prioritise workload while responding to the day-to-day needs of the school.
  • Inspire students and build strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other schools within the trust as required.
  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience for students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with young people or an interest in teaching.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Commitment to a school ethos based on strong values.
  • Flexibility and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Preferred

  • Previous teaching or classroom support experience.
  • Experience in curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum.
  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust.
  • Passion for supporting student learning and development.
