The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Business, Economics, and Computer Science curriculum to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Inspire and motivate students and staff to achieve excellence in academic performance and personal development.
  • Manage and support a team of teachers, providing professional development and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Implement innovative teaching strategies and technologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring that all learners meet high expectations in achievement and behaviour.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s ethos and culture through leadership and collaboration.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, including parents, students, and other school leaders.
  • Ensure alignment with current curriculum, assessment, and pedagogical developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in teaching Business, Economics, and/or Computer Science up to A Level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of teachers.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality teaching and achieving excellent examination results.
  • A deep understanding of current curriculum and pedagogical developments.
  • High expectations of student achievement, behaviour, and learning outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
  • Familiarity with new technologies and their application in teaching and learning.
  • Experience in staff development and professional growth programmes.
