The Opportunity:

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be a key member of the school’s business support team, delivering outstanding service to pupils, teachers, and stakeholders. This role is essential in creating a positive and efficient learning environment for students in a disadvantaged community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors.
  • Manage administrative tasks and support the school’s daily operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the coordination of school events and activities.
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and software used in the school.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and services provided.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall school experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A NVQ Level 1/Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE standard or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in an administrative or reception role.
  • Experience of working within an educational environment.
  • Knowledge of IT software packages such as MS Office and databases.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering outstanding customer service in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of school processes and systems for effective customer care.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships across the school community.
