The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and knowledge-based History lessons to students aged 11 to 16.
- Plan and implement a curriculum that meets GCSE standards and promotes critical thinking.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, discussion, and independent learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure consistent attainment and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver the school’s leadership programme.
- Participate in professional development and support the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Engage with students and parents to support learning and promote a positive school culture.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that enhance student experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of teaching to GCSE standard.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Demonstrated experience in driving student progress and achieving positive outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative and creative teaching strategies.
- Experience in leadership development or student mentorship.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
