The Opportunity:

As a Data Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing school MIS software and data systems, ensuring accurate data for reporting and assessment. This is a key position in supporting the school’s mission to deliver high-quality education and leadership opportunities to young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop school MIS software and data systems, such as Bromcom.
  • Produce accurate and timely data for reporting and assessment purposes.
  • Use MS Office software packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Access.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory data reporting requirements such as school census.
  • Support the school’s leadership and academic programmes through data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, pupils, and stakeholders to ensure data meets the needs of the school community.
  • Maintain and update school databases and systems for efficient data management.
  • Provide expert technical support to the school’s business support team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Experience managing and developing school MIS software and data systems.
  • Experience producing accurate data for reporting and assessment.
  • Proficient in using MS Office software packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Access.
  • Knowledge of statutory data reporting requirements such as school census.

Preferred

  • Experience with Bromcom or similar MIS systems.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in a school or education environment.
  • Familiarity with leadership and character development programmes.
