The Opportunity:
As a Data Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing school MIS software and data systems, ensuring accurate data for reporting and assessment. This is a key position in supporting the school’s mission to deliver high-quality education and leadership opportunities to young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop school MIS software and data systems, such as Bromcom.
- Produce accurate and timely data for reporting and assessment purposes.
- Use MS Office software packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Access.
- Ensure compliance with statutory data reporting requirements such as school census.
- Support the school’s leadership and academic programmes through data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with teachers, pupils, and stakeholders to ensure data meets the needs of the school community.
- Maintain and update school databases and systems for efficient data management.
- Provide expert technical support to the school’s business support team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Experience managing and developing school MIS software and data systems.
- Experience producing accurate data for reporting and assessment.
- Proficient in using MS Office software packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Access.
- Knowledge of statutory data reporting requirements such as school census.
Preferred
- Experience with Bromcom or similar MIS systems.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in a school or education environment.
- Familiarity with leadership and character development programmes.
