The Opportunity:

As the Deputy Inclusion Manager, you will support the Lead Inclusion Manager in managing a large-scale SEND provision across a 4-form entry school. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes, while working within a collaborative and forward-thinking leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a specific key stage or cohort, managing EHCP applications and annual reviews.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of small-group interventions and 1:1 support across the school.
  • Coach and support Class Teachers and TAs in Quality First Teaching and adaptive practice.
  • Work closely with Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, and local authority teams.
  • Use school data to identify gaps in progress and implement rapid support plans.
  • Support the development and implementation of inclusive policies and practices.
  • Ensure effective communication with parents and carers regarding student needs and progress.
  • Assist in the management of resources and logistics within a large-scale school setting.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience in inclusive classroom practice
  • Commitment to obtaining or already holding the NASENCO qualification
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred

  • Experience in a large, 4-form entry school setting
  • Experience with case management and EHCP processes
  • Experience working with external agencies and local authority teams
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support teaching staff
